My 18 month old loves outdoors so I decided to invest in lots of outside toys for toddler girls! Whether the sun is shining or there is snow on the ground Amelia likes to be outside. Amelia is fabulous on her feet and on her trike! As a result I decided that it was time to treat her to some more ride toys for toddler girls! Hands up if your little girl loves water! Mine loves pouring water from one cup to another . It is definitely her favorite thing to do right now and is one of the best fine motor skills activities for toddlers!!

As a result my husband is begging me to buy her a water activity table for toddlers, my only problem is that is far too cold outside right now for her to play with water! I guess I will have to let her make a mess in the kitchen a bit longer. However when Spring arrives I will be treating her to one of these cool outside toys for toddler girls.

Active Play Toys for Toddlers

My 18 month old loves sports already! She is super fit and I know she will really enjoy some active play toys for toddlers. Right now I have only invested in a football which she dribbles and skittles which she throws but I will be definitely treating her to some sports outside toys for toddler girls.

As Amelia loves balls I am sure she would love The Little Tikes basketball set! It might be a few months though before she can shoot any hoops but I am sure Dad will teach her how! She is such a determined little girl I know she will not give up until she can successfully shoot a hoop! Even those are for the summer they still make awesome Christmas girl toys.

The trampoline is sure to be a hit with toddler girls! This particular one can be used inside as well as outdoors! I do like the bigger versions but they are not safe for little ones who are still developing their gross motor skills.

We own several Little Tikes outdoor toys for toddlers already and I can only imagine we will acquire lots more by the time my little boy gets on his feet.

The latest purchase was the Little Tikes toddler slide. Amelia got it from Santa and we opted for the blue/green version so that her little Brother can also play with it when he is older. It is the same product as the red/blue one shown below. They are highly recommended outside toys for toddler girls.

We also own the Little Tikes 4 1 Trike which my little girl loves!

Little Tikes Slides Toddlers

Here is Amelia sitting proudly at the top of her Little Tikes slide for toddlers! As you can see she is well wrapped up as it was a frosty day! We decided to try the slide indoors before taking it outside! This is a brilliant idea because you can use it in a kid’s bedroom with carpet so that any small falls are cushioned. The good thing is that this is suitable for use both inside and outside so that she can enjoy playing whatever the weather! A first play slide is one of the best toddler toys!

Little Tikes First Slide, Red/Blue

Amelia got this slide for Christmas! She is still a little scared to climb up the steps of the slide but she is only 18 months so I know within time she will be able to master it. This is not a problem because we never leave her alone with the slide. UPDATE – at 20 months Amelia now has the confidence to go up and down the steps and slide with no bother at all.

Very easy to assemble without use of tools (it took my husband a minute to click the handrails and steps into place)

We can store the slide indoors as it folds compactly to save space

I have heard that the slide is suitable for kids until they are age 4! When Amelia is this age I will buy her a bigger slide!
