Leapfrog Spin Sing Alphabet Ball Fun Sensory Learning Toy
While shopping I could not resist my buying the Leapfrog Spin Sing Alphabet Ball! I am always on the lookout for fun learning toys for my littles and this fits the bill. We have a large collection of Leapfrog toys and this is another we treasure. I specifically bought it for my 17 month old to encourage him to learn words but it is also great for my 2 and a half year old as it helps her learn the alphabet and animals. Both my toddlers love sensory toys with lights and sounds and this particular Leapfrog one is right up their street.

LeapFrog Spin and Sing Alphabet Zoo – Pink – Online Exclusive
This is the pink version of our toy but it works exactly the same as ours does! The reason I selected this one is because right now it is the cheapest!
I love the fact that it looks like a giant light up globe which changes color when it is spun around!
Three modes, letter, animal and music! In letter mode letter is repeated twice as well as how to say the letter. In animal mode, particular animal is pronounced as well as sounds that animal makes, for example I landed on V. Ball told me it was a vulture and made the sound of wings flapping! In musical mode the alphabet is sung and more animal sounds can be heard!
My 1 year old loves the small colored balls on the side of the ball as well as pushing the rabbit and frog up and down! Hopefully my pictures below help you see this!

Great for babies fine motor skills – features include spinning, pushing colored buttons and frog and rabbit. There is also a bumblebee to guide along a small track.
Sensory includes different colored lights as baby/toddler spins ball, lots of different sounds and music. Rhys loves shaking the ball to see the colored balls at the side move around! He also loves watching the colors flash as the ball spins around! In fact he spins the Leapfrog spin sing alphabet so quickly he rarely gets a chance to hear the letters or animal names!
With regards to toddler learning this is great for speech development and learning new words! If you read my toy posts you will see that I am a big fan of toys that promote language development! There is such a variety of animals featured; some your toddler will know and probably most they will not! The letter A starts with ant and Z is for Zebra. Expect common animals such as frog, horse and elephant to feature as well as uncommon ones including norcal and vulture! These all add to the learning experience and might prompt your little one to ask more questions!
