My little girl will be half a year old at Christmas and I am researching gifts for a 6 month old baby as we speak. It is very hard to find the best toys for a 6 month old as there are so many to choose from!! Fortunately I am able to advise based on my own experience. Personally Vtech learning toys for babies and Fisher Price toys are hard to beat!

Fisher Price Stackable rings are one of the best toys for a 6 month old. My friend bought these for her little girl and she absolutely loves them. She spends as much time stacking them as putting them in her mouth, but that is typical of a child of this age.

This is one of the fabulous baby learning toys as baby will learn to stack the rings in size order, not initially though. At first them will spend time shaking the small ring to hear the rattling sounds. Stacking helps improve hand-eye coordination.

I really recommend Vtech learning toys for babies especially the Vtech crawl ball pink, which I have bought for my daughter! It is for sure one of the best toys for a 6 month old! I specifically bought the pink version as I want her to have some girly toys, everything she owns at the minute is green. I just love looking at this toy and cannot wait until she gets to play with it on Christmas morning.

It comes as no surprise that Fisher Price Toys 6 months are some of the best out there! Indeed I own several including the Fisher Price Monkey Jumperoo.

This was a present for my little girl who loves to play in it. I make sure she spends some time daily because it is a good way to strengthen the muscles in her legs for walking. As you can see she is very happy playing here. I find she swings more from side to side as opposed to bouncing but perhaps this is because she is still only four months old. It is one of the affordable gifts for a 6 month old baby.

I love spending time reading and singing to my daughter so this will be something different for her.
