My husband and I were shopping for Christmas gifts for a 6 month old when he suggested we buy the Fisher Price Laugh Learn puppy smart train for Amelia. He is not as knowledgeable as me when it comes to baby learning toys but this time he definately got it right! When selecting this he said he was looking for push toys for baby because this was something she did not have. We both knew that she would be crawling soon and that the Fisher Price Laugh Learn Smart Stages Puppy Smart Train would be ideal for her to push when she was creeping or even when she was sitting upright. Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Puppy’s Smart TrainI love the Fisher Price Laugh Learn Smart Stages Puppy Smart Train and so does Amelia. When we bought it she was quite small and therefore could not use all the features. Initially we gave her the small figures to play with (3 are included along with the Fisher Price Laugh Learn Puppy Smart Train). They are all different sizes as you can see from the photograph. The larger one, the puppy with the blue ears is definately her favorite and is actually a mini version of her Fisher Price Laugh Learn Love Play Puppy. She loves shaking the pup because he rattles, well when she is not chewing his head. I think the figures are a great size for a 6 month old baby to pick up and hold onto. I know some toys have bigger figures but in my opinion Amelia copes with smaller ones better.

I always put all three figures onto her train and she knocks them off. At the 6-7 month stage she still has not worked out how to put them back onboard the train, instead she holds onto them. I know this is one of these toys that encourage fine motor skills and in time Amelia will return the figures to their carriages. Yep she really loves the Fisher Price Laugh Learn Puppy Smart train.

The laugh learn puppy smart train has three carriages in total with lots of fun features onboard! The first carriage is the biggest of the three can be detached from the other two (which cannot be separated). Amelia loves detaching the bigger carriage from the smaller two. She finds it difficult to move the train when all three carriages are together.

The Fisher Price laugh learn puppy smart train carriages are all brightly colored and suitable for both boys and girls to play with. The color combination definately attracts (and keeps babies attention).

Push toys for baby are great for when they are starting to creep and this is why the Fisher Price Laugh Learn Puppy Smart Train is awesome! I am using it to encourage Amelia to crawl. I place it in front of her and she tries to touch the wheels. Normally she goes for the wheels on the bigger carriage. She is very good at pushing it away from her but not so good at creeping after it yet! The green button also causes the train to move along and this is another feature Amelia loves. She is trying so hard to follow the train; it will be only a matter of time before she catches up with it.

Well the Laugh Learn Puppy Train is definately one of the best push toys for baby I have ever bought! Like the smart stages toy range it has 3 levels. I am still on Level 1 and will not progress to the next level until Amelia is 12 months old. The first level teaches colors, numbers, shapes, whilst the second level encourages your toddler to learn the alphabet. There is then a third level for toddlers aged 18 months and onwards. As well as music and sounds there are lots of mini toys on the carriages for baby to exercise their fine motor skills.

I have watched my little girl play with all the features and right now it is probably her favorite toy!
