Auntie Karen bought Amelia the Fisher Price Jungle bouncer when she was just born. It was one of the best toys for newborns and even now at almost 7 months old she still uses it. I had already browsed several before Amelia was born and the Fisher Price baby vibrating bouncer was the one I had my eye on! I liked it because it was excellent value for money and as well as being cheap it had all the features I wanted! Every baby needs a bouncer, they are a godsend for parents! I have to add I now have my 8 day old son in this Fisher Price toy.

I love the toy bar! At the age of 3 months old Amelia used to kick her legs up and down to try and get the monkey and parrot to move about! She was fascinated with trying to catch these with her feet rather than reaching up with her hands!

The toy monkey was her favorite toy; she would stare at him for ages especially when I spun the ball below him around.

This Fisher Price jungle bouncer has a slight variation in color and pattern to the one I own, but they are essentially the same product (I am in the UK so I am guessing this is why they are different).

When Amelia was only a few weeks old she used to sleep in her baby vibrating bouncer. If I am being honest this is the only place I could get her to sleep during the day because she had bad colic. I used to place her in the bouncer and switch on the vibrate and within minutes she had nodded off to sleep. Whenever she was sound I would switch the vibrate function off.

At 7 months old Amelia will still sleep in her Fisher Price jungle bouncer although not for as long as she did when she was a tiny baby.

The toy bar is detachable on the Fisher Price Rainforest Deluxe Bouncer! Yep I found the toys were distracting my little one when she was trying to sleep even when the music and lights were off. I also found the toys got in the way when I was trying to set Amelia in the Fisher Price jungle bouncer when she was over 4 months old. Another advantage of removing the toy bar is that Amelia can now play with it when she is propped upright and not in her bouncer.

It is light enough to carry with baby on board (just make sure they are strapped in)! You can transport your pride and joy from room to room as you are doing the housework. This is a big advantage as it means you can get the housework done as well as looking after your little one. Amelia really loves me carrying her around the house while I am doing the housework!

It is unisex and the colors are vibrant. Baby boy or baby girl this Fisher Price Rainforest friends deluxe bouncer is suitable. It looks really exotic with the bright green and colors of animals splashed throughout! It is definitely one of the early sensory toys for infants I recommend.

The batteries last a long time. This is a big plus because you will be using this Fisher Price jungle bouncer practically all the time whenever your baby is not in the crib. There are two battery compartments, one for the music and waterfall lights and one for the vibrate function!

It is excellent value for money and something that should be on your newborn baby essentials checklist!
